Magnet Scheduling Instructions

CABI is running a web-based scheduling software. This system allows researchers with approved protocols to examine all three magnet schedules in daily, weekly, and monthly views, as well as to make or delete entries and change passwords. The interface is fairly self-explanatory. To make the scheduling easy and smooth, we ask you to kindly observe the following

Rules:

  1. Registration of accounts is done by the schedule administrators.
  2. Minimum scheduling unit is one half hour. However, you can easily ' schedule larger contiguous blocks of time.
  3. Do not plan magnet time more than 21 days ahead.
  4. Plan in contiguous blocks of time. Avoid creation of small gaps.
  5. Observe your protocol's weekly and total time limits.
  6. You can cancel your entry but the cancellation must be done before the scheduled time.
  7. Please start your scheduled scan on time. Your time slot may be automatically cancelled in case of a delay of 30 minutes or more.
  8. Check the schedule one more time immediately before you come. Your time slot may have been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances and our attempts to let you know may have failed. Also check the magnets status report page.
